Buff rares and overboost

i just think rares and overboost need a little buff. Just sharing.

Rares can barely keep up with some epics

Overboost is a bit slow, it should be more interestingly fast.

 

that's the point , rares can't keep up with epic , so player need to build their own epics to compete whether slow process or fast forward with pearl ( real money ) .

OB already fast if you insert with epic perk ( rare 3 perk , epic and legendary 4 perk ) .

 

Yeah I like the rare perk slot idea. It’s just that my overboost doesn’t feel as fast as it should be. It’s a tier four rare but still. Also, a tier two epic one can easily be just as good as mine, I know because I have both and there’s such little difference in speed.

Haha. You always make me smile. You know me so well, I am never satisfied. But i really like the idea of another perk slot for rares when they get tier 5

I do hope rates can get a 4th perk, that way people would think twice before replacing it with a legendary

just start building epics so you can have a fair fight in higher infamy . With latest update , you can get guaranteed red and green item with only 1 million dmg/heal

 

Im a f2p speeder player and i definitely don't agree that rare perk idea. Most of rare items already strong to keep up with epics just you need to upgrade them to 50 lvl. If you just put a fourth perk slot to rare items that will be wrong for epic item users. Upgrade a rare to lvl 50 is way more easy than an epic to lvl 40. This fourth slot opening late for epics so why easy for rares?

 

When i was up around 5k - 5.5k, i heard people were reporting me because my rare items weren't efficient! Something needs to change with rares, now!

 

I thought OB perks only increased the duration lol

But yea, T4 rare OB is already like +100% speed, that's fast af.

Some rares surely could use some help, looking at you rare Tesla Shield

 

Agree, tesla shield needs a buff for its early game, though it's good (too good, according to many) in the late game. I think its starting point should be stronger, and its growth slowed so that it's about the same as it is now at the high levels.

 

Well, it's certainly true that overboost does not scale like most of the other weapons. I have an E10 overboost. For most things an R20 should be similar but with overboost you need R27 or so.

 

All yellow items do not scale like red items it just not ob

 

No they aren’t, and besides, a majority of the high infamy players are there because of the money they have sent on this game. I am a low level speeder with some pretty dang good infamy, 3k, and my rares don’t do shit against other ships. Mostly because people are getting these tier four epics and leggys like crazy

 

I like this, this just makes me want to buff overboost a little, because not every one is able to get epics and legendary overboosts
