Torpedoes seem so ridiculous...

Lol I have been using big torp since August 2017 and its far from easy on speeder where its your main damage dealer. Either I am a noob or you're having prodigious skills with big torp.

 

Yep.. they jusy fire at random hoping to hit someone. No real strategy
In district 9 it goes right through the barrier wall and hits u.

 

Yeah, have t5 triple torp. I use it but i try not to just fire it blindy into open water.. i try to aim it

 

Lol no, i think the weapon is fine but let me tell you, you don't need to be a bulls eye to use torp.I know because i use it

 

Oh man, when a big torp user gets me in a position where literally none of my options would have saved me, I put my phone down and give them a round of applause. I'm almost certain that trapping a player like that is almost always intentional and I'm honored to be sunk in such a badass way.

 

What do you call a master, i can anticipate movement on other side of the map and hit a perfect shot....does your master shoot torpedos through walls?, if not then i must say you don't need to be specially gifted like you over exaggerating. You just need 2 perfect hit of a T5 epic torp to change the game. I see people doing it frequently and quite effectively

 

Torps are torps but the damage is ridiculous for a Big Torp, A tier 5 rare does 2600 damage which is huge, I get one shotted most of the times only by Big Torps which hit the wall but still kill me, Excannon has the similar damage to a blast cannon lol, why cant Big torp damage be closer to a swift torp. As foor staying near walls, arent they suppose dto protect u lol, whats a point of thw wall then, we might as well play in a big glass box

Im at ace III, again big torp is not that hard to use, if we were talking bout missiles then I would definitely agree with y'all. Maybe it misses, but only one hit makes up a lot for it. And you don't need to see your enemies to hit with it. Also You can't stay away from the walls most of the time, the splash dmg radius is just ridiculous. They can nerf the ex cannon then why not big torp ? Lol its clearly overused and op

Guys, things change in nightmare, believe me.. Reorge talked how easy it is to hit a torp in Ace III, that’s quite right because people aren’t so aware of its strategy.

Once you get to Nightmare league, it’s very hard to hit it precisely, especially if it’s an Enfo. Enfos are any torpedo users Nightmare since they can dance quickly and Easley dodge. Plus, you’ll play vs speeders with T5 Epic nitro and Overboost, if wasn’t my gear lube my chances of hitting would be minimum.

It’s funny, I’ve seen lots of player changing mind of its own argue when reached Nightmare and started to feel the pain that it is to maintain itself in the league.

 

Nightmare insight is something I lack as an Ace player. I'll take your word for it. For now

 

Big torp nerf? Let me help you. Retrain your crew to support swift torps only. Remove all damage, speed and frost perks from your big torp. And at the end what you get is a nerfed version. Use it. Enjoy it.

 

I always know when dodging torps they'll always read and go for your movements. Turn on ultra instinct, and you can dodge their predictions. Dodging torps is not that hard, well unless ur a big blue piñata.

 

I had actually never used a big torp until I picked up a legendary one (which hits about 2200, like a high end sniper).
I put it on my speeder for quests and went straight from 4200 to 4700, often top damage dealer on my team.
