A question about scrapping (I promise it’s real)

I’m not some troll foaming at the mouth demanding percentage odds because if these kids had any intelligence they’d understand since scrapping doesn’t involve the use of real money in any way it’s absolved from Loot Box rules...BUT...

I took a few months off from burnout...at the time I’d occasionally scrap 20-30 commons a day. They were very rare, but I’d occasionally get an epic piece. Like I said, very rare, but I did.

That being said, have things changed in the recent past? I’ve scrapped 1.5 million gold in the past month, and outside of epic materials or the worthless tier level up items, I haven’t received a single epic piece. Not one. Not asking if they yanked those out or if it’s just harder now? I can freely admit if the chance at an Epic piece has been removed entirely, I’ll probably stop scrapping entirely. Thanks!

Yeah I also feel like I haven't gotten anything from commons lately. Even less rare pieces it seems to, but idk if that's just my luck or what

 

Every two weeks or so? In the 10 months I've played the game, I never seen odds anywhere near that. There is occasional epic pieces here and there from boxes, but I haven't seen a legendary piece outside of the raffle in 6 months... and 3 months ago that well ran dry too. The latest update where you can earn a legendary item is likely the only way I'll ever get one, and it'll be weaker than the rare/epic items I already have.

 

I am not lying within 5 months of playing I got my first legendary, from scrapping aall the epics and rares I dont use. In the last 1.5 months I have scrapped as much as before but got no pieces.

 

The devs be like:

 

Stop crying, kid
Just recently I got few legendary pieces from scrapping.

That is why we need chances - to understand what we doing and not to cry on the forum later "where is my epic pieces"

 

More damage doesnt always help, I spent so long trying for a legendary, I didnt learn any skills. So basically all I learnt is to how to shoot only.

 

Considering the chances of getting Epics from Free Crates is low...chances are scrapping is even lower than that. I think it’s safe to say the more you scrap the better your chances, right?

I will say tho, I have gotten legendary pieces before from both the Free Crates and Scrapping. Although Very, Very, Very Rare. Plus I play a lot which means I scrap a lot.

 

I dont play much but I scrap a lot so I got a legendary at 4 months, but since then I havent got any pieces. However it means that while my red items are strong, the rest are very weak on my speeder as I often scrapped epics and rares I could have saved up to get multiple tier 4 rares and maybe tier 4 epics.

 

Let's be honest though... for F2P is it faster to level up to a T50 Rare or to get a Legendary? Hint: I've got a half dozen T50 rares, and no Legendary item in sight.

The problem is that players keep assuming Legendaries are better than their epic or rare counterparts, but that is only if you get Legendary copies! It's super easy to get copies of Rares, and easy to get copies of Epics in comparison. Legendary copies? Ha... good luck with getting a pair, and more good luck getting the pair you want if you aren't in Nightmare AND don't pull out your wallet.

 

I think scrapping something gives way to little in return. When I have collected 10 rare or epic item pieces, first you often get not what you want or need and second when you scrap you get 1 item piece and 50 uncommon parts in return.

 

Just got blue legendary part from scrapping uncommon. And its already 4th from scrapping uncommon.
