don't ignore shooters

Shooter is used, because
1) It is the boat everyone starts with
2) It is very easy to be a basic effective shooter, if you can just lead your shots a bit
And when the noobs get better and start to realise ”Hey, there are more ships!”, it’s already harder to build 2 different setups. So many people just stay in the shooter forever.

I have a feeling, that if in the tutorial you could choose your ship and you were given a few items for that, we wouldn’t see shooter dominance in the early levels.

Lol my mk5 speeder has 2.1k life so I use my mk4fixer with 2.3k with no shields on- I need to get one soon.

Yes it would nt end up with me having tier 4 rare weapons I dont even use, just stuck there. I should have specialised with fixer from the start, not messed around with shooter until mk4

Additionally,people like to be EASY mvp,scoring alot of damage and bragging, just like other games such as MOBA games alot wants to play marksmen instead of tanks/supports,blah blah blah

The approach to buff or nerf should be more technical, this is a thread created out of spite. If you try to be nice, next thing incoming is a enfo nerf thread..

Mortar is worst weapon in game, i don't care if they nerf it... Problem is he is asking for nerf because he can't deal with it.

Who do you think it is easy to hit a speeder on nitro or a shooter. The difference between shooter and speeder Hp is less than 1K

I m freq getting hit by missiles doing 1K+ damage i don't go around creating a thread For nerfing them...

 

Mortars arent the worst, when used well they can damage u, if they are the worst then why do u use 1. Not really, many mk5s have 5-6k life while most speeders have like 3k with the occasional 4k.
Some like me only have 2k hp. He finds facing mortars hard, then so be it, he wants it to be nerfed and the devs will decide.
He wanted people to put in their opinions in, a opinion is fine but not in the way u do it.
So, I get one shotted by torpedos, not everyone finds the same things hard, I might want to nerf torpedos. U both find two different items hard so it makes u equal, he justs feels that it should be nerfed but u dont really think the 1k daamge is significant enough to bother to nerf.

 

Well... I'm not saying these nerfs are necessary but if u look at all updates after june 2017( since I've been playing this game)...all ships not enforcer and shooter... enforcer don't need any nerfs its always balanced....speeder got nerfed all the time...so if u talk about balance then it means nerf/buff should affect all ships... shooter need some kind of nerf( HP speed defense points or anything else)... shooters are never OP...but it needs a nerf to maintain the balance....we don't wanna see a biased bay where one ship don't get nerf...RIGHT...??

 

I think it's funny that everyone thinks they're an expert in what should get nerfed or buffed... usually what brings balance is not what seems obvious. changing the obvious things usually only creates a cycle of imbalances leading to buffing this and nerfing that every update. they should not listen to us at all when deciding on balance issues. only THE DEVS have all the data needed to determine balance. US with our poor skill tree and item leveling choices cannot know what might be different if we had chosen differently.
in any case, it takes a while for balance changes to normalize, because the players have to learn the best ways to adjust to them, which is basically what YOU should be doing, rather than complaining about balance such a short time after the update. Further, you should never change more than one thing at a time anyway, because some changes have surprising long-term effects.

The example I always use is: my brother played a Rogue on WOW, one day the Rogues until then primary skill got nerfed and all the Rogues complained. but not my brother... my brother became the second best Rogue on his server because of that nerf. It's all about perspective and adjusting to change, my friends.
