Blue items achievements idea

    Right now, only red and green items have achievements who results in free items which is pretty convinient and rewarding for the players who are really active.

    I've been thinking about a way that blue items could get the same treatment :

    Standard Shield : Get damaged by Xnumber while using any ship. 10000/100000/1000000/5000000/15000000
    Big Shield : Get damaged by Xnumber while using a Defender ship. 10000/100000/1000000/5000000/15000000
    Turbo : Sail the seas for Xnumber while using any ship. 2000/20000/200000/1000000/3000000 (miles/kms ?)
    Rudder : Deal damage by Xnumber while using a Speeder ship. 5000/50000/500000/2500000/7500000
    Gear Lube : Deal damage by Xnumber while using an Enforcer ship. 5000/50000/500000/2500000/7500000
    Bandage (limited to one per ship) : Heal yourself by Xnumber while using any ship. 2500/25000/250000/1250000/3500000

    What do you think ?

    Don't like the ideas for these three.

    Rudder: Why for speeder? What if I use Rudder on the other ship and hate speeders? What if I don't do much damage (like playing fixer)?
    Gear Lube: Why for enforcer? What if I use Gear Lube on the other ship and hate enforcers? What if I don't do much damage (like playing fixer)?
    Bandage: Why it should be limited to one per ship? Because you use only one? :)

    The idea with turbo is fine, with shields as well.

    All numbers are completely random, game designers will make them better

    Use common sense, limiting the bandage to one will prevent abuse like ships with multiple stacks of bandages. This way, we'll avoid retarded builds just made to grind that achievement.
    Also, the Gear Lube/Rudder is releated to the stats/background of the respective ships and that, would promote ship diversity in game.

    Game Designers would make my idea better, no s**t sherlock. They're probably working on something already, i'm just trying to contribute here and there.

    I don't like your ideas, they are based solely on what you need in the game.

    If we talk in general about adding achievements for blue items, yes, everyone agrees that we need them.

    Shields can't be from taking damage. The most efficient way to get legendaries would be to put on a ton of shields and die as fast as possible over and over.
    Turbo is good, taken by distance traveled.
    Rudder is tricky. It definitely shouldn't be based off of damage. We need to think about what the rudder let's us do more effectively ie circle enemies, make flexible maneuvers, rotate our turrets quickly, etc.
    Gear lube, same concept as rudder. Maybe landing shots? I assume people would be able to land more shots with a gear lube, including yellow and green item skill shots.
    Bandage, no reason to limit to 1. Many defenders use more than 1.

    1st : i don't use bandage.
    2nd : defenders with bandages don't know what they're doing.
    3rd : i already have what i need in game.
    Beside this, it seems that you guys don't understand the purpose behind my ideas (the shield one might be a problem i recon) : my purpose is, with these achievements, to promote ship and build diversity without forcing players to use unwanted items for a while (aka grinding with a rudder/lube fitted).

    I gotchu. I want this to be a thing, too, I just want to make sure it doesn't harm gameplay in any way. I'm glad you see the issue with the shields. As for bandages, I don't recommend using more than 1 in most cases, but it should still be useful nonetheless. It works for the red and green achievements, after all. I disagree with damage for gear lube and rudder because they don't really have anything to do with damage. It would be the same as doing damage with a turbo equipped.

    Gear Lube + Hitting Targets is a pretty good idea, so Rudder would work with avoiding AoE weapons such as mortars/firebomb/napalm/frost launcher ? I can't see how it could be datamined from the game to the achievement but the idea is here.

    Gear lube could track how often you get the "Nice Shot!" medal, since that medal requires your target to be moving and gear lube helps most against quick unfriends.

    Rudder is definitely the odd egg lol. Maybe it could also track distance like the turbo, but only when you're close to an unfriend? Most rudder users drive circles around their enemies (I do at least). If we do it this way, it should be less distance than the turbo since the turbo's distance counter is global.

    We still have to figure something out for the shield besides taking damage. How about it keeps track of how much hp you had at the end of battle? More shields means it's more likely you'll stay alive. To avoid people stacking shields and hiding for the whole match, this one should only count for victories.

    Shields achievement is tricky yeah, mandatory victory is a must to avoid floating madness, but the numbers have to be lowered (i guess ?).
    Edit : after some thoughts, people will float anyway...

    Shields basically adding more health to your ship. Here is my suggestion:
    It must be count for additional health that added by shields not of your ship's own. For example if your total health is 10k(7k your ship's, 3k additional by shields) and you take 5k damage only counts for 3k. If you run over by shield healths it won't counting no more. But a fixer heals you over 7k that means recovers your shields, it will counts again as well.

    I guess it was because they didn't figure it out how to make It, but I'm sure they're thinking on It.
    Think about It, we would use our yellow items without the usual strategy just to get our legendary stuff. When you damage or fix someone, your item did what it was designed to do. But when you use your tesla shield and go somewhere trying simply get hit, it'd be like tanking :D

    All be items should just be based on how many matches played with that item equipped.
    1000 matches for the legendary, 100 for epic.
    Only wins count.

    Takes longer to tank and win some then tank again than to just try to win normally. Also they get no rewards.

    Don't know, man, a tanker told me he was AFK while watching Netflix then he wasn't even seeing the battles. I really liked your idea, but I think there would be more tanking on the Bay.
