Though this is a very minor thing, i think the security of items in your inventory should be improved.
The 3 sec confirmation for scrapping a levelled up or ship-equipped item is okay for you or the player to stop from scrapping it by mistake, but suppose somebody else accesses your b-bay app and scraps stuff it is kinda tragic. I mean its just a simple scrap for any item even a t5 leg that you spent millions for can disappear in three clicks.
Not that such cases happen frequently as i heard of, but to prevent misuse of item by a foreign user (it can happen) i suggest we can get an option to mark an item as a favourite/important one, where we get to add a password (maybe common to all items you want to mark as fav) and next time one tries to scrap that fav item, it will require a password first.

If someone gets into your phone and scraps stuff it's kinda your fault

Agreed, thats why i said not that these cases happen much, but still then there are endless possibilities, with also a chance of your account being misused by a friend, phone being stolen etc. Precaution should be taken before hand. one post stated born to kill getting his items scrapped, well maybe with some security the sense would be more.
Point is items that we've worked hard for and some even spent thousands of bucks on can go away in seconds unlike some games where the progress is permanent or un-windable (not scrappable type).
In battle bay everything you've worked for is to get good gear. If you can delete them quick without any security/recognition its one flaw, as it can finish all that you've played for, and play with.

That's what a little something called a phone password is for.

The responsibility of what happens with the account is down to the owner of the profiles the game is linked to as well as the phone.

If someone was to hack it and decide to wipe it, unfortunately the owner has likely done something to compromise the phone/account which may well be difficult to prove.

If the owner has given someone else access to the phone / account and they trash the account for whatever reason, again that's the owners responsibility and Rovio certainly won't rectify it.

I'd prefer not to have any passwords considering the account requires access to Facebook/Google as well as my phone login in addition to a warning on scrapping. I follow your point but it would be a big inconveniece when you can organise your inventory to separate your keepers from your scrappers.

I would love an item lock feature. I accidentally scrapped an epic item months ago and haven't seen a replacement yet.
